Fall Message 2020 from John Tillinghast

Hi  everyone

Fall is upon us and this weekend it certainly feels that way. Hopefully Summer will make a return.

Due to Covid 19 we will be unable to have our annual Halloween party, so I have decided to extend the camping season (FOR SEASONALS ONLY) to the 31st of October. You will be allowed to stay only if all of your fees are paid up.

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO WEEKENDER OR SHORT-TERM CAMPING!!!  WE ARE CLOSED FOR NON-SEASONAL CAMPERS ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 12TH AT 5PM.

We will continue the SATURDAY NIGHT MOVIE NIGHT so long as the weather permits,

and for Halloween activities we are encouraging all seasonals to participate in a

GOLF CART PARADE on the 24th of October at 7pm with

TRUNK-A-TREAT afterward at the Safari field six feet apart.

There will be cash prizes for the best decorated golf cart and campsite.
1st place shall be $300
2nd place shall be $200
3rd place shall be $100.

So come and enjoy the Fall with us at camp.

CAMP WILL BE CLOSING ON OCTOBER 31st and there will be a limited amount of pump-outs

We will be doing pump-outs for the entire last week of October with no more than twenty per day on a first-come-first-served basis, so plan ahead.

WINTER STORAGE FEE for this year shall be $300.00 for trailer stored on site $100.00 if stored in field and if paid by October 31st.

Late fees shall increase by $200 for anyone who is late.

Anyone who leaves their trailer or belongings on the site over sixty days without making payment shall lose site privileges and, under state law, possible disposal.

We are also starting this year charging for boat storage and golf cart storage. The charges shall be $100.00 if boat and trailer are stored on site, $50.00 for golf carts stored on site.

We have installed a gate at the tennis court and now offer Locked Winter Storage. The fees shall be $200.00 for boat on trailer and $100.00 for golf cart. There is limited amount of storage space so plan ahead.

Have a great Fall,

John

  1. Hi John
I am trying to book reservations for Memorial Weekend and it states we must pay in full. The 2021 rates are not listed, should I just mail a check in with this year rates?

  2. We are currently closed for the winter season and there is no one manning the office. If you want to make a reservation for Memorial Weekend, you must wait until mid-May. We are not able at this time of year to determine what our schedule will look like.

    Thank-you!
