Camping Season 2020 Message

Camping Season 2020 Message

Hi everyone I hope all of you are well or at least better than me.

I have been sick for most of the month of February and am sorry if some of you have received your camp bill a little late.  By now most of you have received your camp bill. I would ask that you follow the instructions on the bottom and send your payment in.

Some of you have made payments recently that may not be reflected in the latest  bill. Simply calculate those payments when figuring your bill.

Those of you that have paid nothing face possible eviction, therefore if payment is not received promptly, your trailer and belongings will be removed from the site.
Winter Storage ends on April 15 and anyone who is just storing needs to be out by that date.

Camping Season 2020 Message office will open April 30Camping Season 2020 Message The camp will open this year on April 30th, and the office will open on the weekend before from 8 to 5.  Only those who have paid in full for the season will be allowed to drive into the park. Please do not ask me for special treatment and expect to be allowed in earlier.

I have received many cards and notes from many of you that you are counting down the days and can’t wait to go camping!

Hope to see you all healthy in the Spring.

John

PARKING

There is No Parking in empty sites or along roadsides, at any time, for any reason. We must keep the roadways clear for emergency vehicles, therefore there can be no exceptions. Also, because someone may get to their assigned site only to find it blocked by parked vehicles, we cannot allow this rule to be ignored.

  4. Hi John, First of all, I hope that you’re feeling well. Moving forward, I am just wondering if the April 30th date is for actual camping or just clean up? I apologize in advance if this question has already been asked several times already. Also, as far as fees go, we have always paid 25% at the last week of camping season then the remaining balance on opening weekend the following year. Is this practice still ok to do?

  7. John I hope you have had a nice winter, minus the month of Feb. Hope you are feeling better. Was hoping that you would please put in that 50 amp service I’ve been asking you for, it would make both yours and our camp life easier and would open up the other site for rental. Thank you very much.

  8. Hi John I put a deposit on brown 62 last year. We are new to bowdish and are excited to camp with you this year. But I never received a bill. But I do have the money to pay towards the bill. 12. Hi John,

Sorry to hear your not feeling well. Hope it’s not serious. I just finished radiation on my neck, in June. Sounds like your camp ground is doing great. We enjoyed it there in 1976-1979. Still love visiting there. I can sit on a bench in a camp site and it brings me back to the days I stayed there. Great memories.

Continue the great tradition in making family memories like I have now and will always have. After 44 years they are clear as yesterday.

    Tim Sheehan,

  14. Thanks, John! It’s been a tough winter for illnesses all around! Dave just had his gall bladder removed on an emergency basis last week. He’s doing fine now…scary! Sorry you’ve been sick. Hope you feel better soon, and hope it’s nothing serious!! We can’t wait for camping season to begin!

    Hi John,

We hope you were feeling better through March, and didn’t run into COVID19.

I know we are in a constantly changing environment now. Do you have any insight at this time, regarding how COVID19 may impact our ability to camp this season?
