Seasonal Camping Rates
Seasonal Camping is our main focus. The fees for a seasonal site depend upon a number of factors. We prefer to charge only for those options you choose to take advantage of, rather than charging one flat rate for everyone.
The camping season runs from Memorial Weekend in May to Columbus Weekend in October.
The base fee for a site depends on the individual site. Site size, location and hookups have an effect on the seasonal camping rate. A site on the lake, for instance, is more expensive than a wooded site. A site with a sewer connection is more than one without (We do offer pump-outs for a small fee).
Base Fees for Sites: Seasonal Price ranges from about $1800 to about $3600. There is an additional flat fee for your electricity for the season depending upon amps. For instance, 30amps is $275 for your electricity for the season.
All sites have water and electric. Most sites are 30amp, some are 50amp. Some sites also have a sewer hookup.
We recommend you stop by the campground and drive around, pick out some sites you like and we can tell you exactly what that site will cost for the season. The campground does not open for the season until May. Before driving up, it is recommended that you call ahead to be sure someone will be there and you can get in the gate.
While our campsite map shows the arrangement of the campsites, the color areas on the map do not indicate the type of site. Approximately 250 of those sites are currently reserved by seasonal campers and are not available. Don’t worry though, there are a lot of sites that are still available.
Bowdish Lake Camping Area is essentially a facility to accommodate families who want seasonal camping at a facility that is well-maintained and wholesome in character.
We do provide short-term camping for those campers who will respect our rules and our intent.
