11406471_864820243583680_1688345381504194567_n10 AM to 5 PM — BEACH OPEN (weather permitting) Swim only when & where Lifeguard is on Duty. There are State Laws for your safety. If you have a boat, launch it at the launch area west of Beach 2. There is no parking at the launch area.

Fishermen: Bring your catch to the office to be weighed, photographed and entered in our season-long Contest. Prize & Trophy awarded on Labor Day Weekend.


7:30 to 10 PM — BEACH REC HALL OPEN

11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Let our fishermen get a good nights sleep.
12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED!

campfireCAMPFIRES: Campfires are allowed only if they are contained within a ring of stones, flames are never more than 12 inches high, they are never left unattended and are fully out at midnight. This fire regulation must be strictly adhered to in order to protect our environment, If you forgot the makings of S’mores, we have them in our store. For those of you who enjoy singing, try a-capella.

SPORTS EQUIPMENT: Bowdish Lake has lots of opportunity for your favorite sport or just good exercise, on loan at the office. Ask to borrow bats & balls, basketballs, volleyballs, kick balls, horseshoes, stilts, hoops, Frisbees, etc. Ask for maps of the miles of hiking trails in the State Forest that surrounds us. A good place to start is a walk around Wilbur Pond. (Or browse our lending library!)

11 – NOON — THE RED CRAFT HOUSE

Projects for all ages at reasonable prices.

Finishing materials are free. Children under age 7 must be with an adult. Thank you.


2 PM — LOADS OF FOAM PARTY

AT THE RED PAVILION — Parent supervision requested. — Bathing Suits recommended. Bring your camera!

Kids LOVE playing in a Pavilion Full of Foam!


4 PM — VOLLEY BALL MASH-UP

AT THE NET AT BLUE 43. — Ages 10 and up.


5 PM — CHILDRENS’ HAY WAGON RIDES

Pick-up and drop-off at Safari Field. Parents, do not allow your child to ride unless you are certain he/she will remain seated. Parents are invited to ride.


7 – 10 PM — FUN TIME AT THE BEACH REC HALL

8 PM — MOVIE & FREE TREAT – AT THE BEACH REC HALL

Suitable for all ages. Bring your chair (and your bug spray!).


7:30 PM — FREE PRIZE BINGO
Safari Rec Hall –All Ages Welcome.


11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Remember, no Golf Carts out on our roads after 12 midnight

12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED! It is a VERY important fire safety regulation!

5 PM — CHECK-OUT TIME — Please wrap all trash & place inside a dumpster. We appreciate it when you leave your site as neat as you found it. Thank you.
